(AUDIO) LADY ANTEBELLUM HEADS INTO 2020 CLOSER THAN THEY’VE EVER BEEN

Lady Antebellum released their latest album, Ocean, featuring their current single, “What If I Never Get Over You,” on November 15th, and in the process of making that album, they discovered who they are as a unit.  As Lady A heads into 2020, Charles Kelley says, “I think as a band we’re definitely as close and open as we’ve been in a long time. I think we’re trying to be completely honest and you’ll hear it in the songs. The past two, three years have been really tough for us as a band, just kind of going through so many life changes, and I think really trying to recognize what each of us wants out of this career and out of this life.”

While it wasn’t about a New Year’s resolution, Lady Antebellum knew they had to make some changes and knew they had to establish their goals and their boundaries as a band, and Charles says. “We came to the conclusion that balance – for us to continue to do this – it’s going to be balance and trust and open and honest conversations.”

Lady Antebellum will be touring in 2020, but they’ll also make sure they have time to spend with their families and time to unplug from one another every once in a while, so that their career doesn’t consume them as it has at certain times in the past.
