With two kids, a busy career and so many things vying for his time and attention, Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line believes the key to keeping the romance alive in his marriage is to make time for occasional surprises. “You do have to try a little bit harder because yeah, most of the time, especially for me, if I want something I’m just on Amazon Prime real quick and I’m gonna grab it,” says Tyler.
Surprises don’t always have to be big or extravagant. Sometimes they can be gestures, but Tyler says, “There’s always good times for surprises. I think that’s important for a healthy marriage. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a gift, but just any kind of surprise that’s unexpected, even if it’s just little flowers or, you know, coming home early or whatever the case may be, keeping each other on your toes and excited.”
Florida Georgia Line is gearing up for a big 2020, including the Chillaxification Tour with Kenny Chesney, kicking off in April, and their fifth studio album, which they’re currently working on and planning to release later this year as a follow up to their Can’t Say I Ain’t Country album, featuring their latest single, “Blessings.”
