Now that Justin Moore has four kids, Valentine’s Day tends to be more about them, especially since his oldest daughter, Ella’s, birthday is three days before on February 11th and she likes to prolong the celebration. One thing Justin has noticed is how much Valentine’s Day has changed since he was a kid. “It’s funny, because Valentine’s Day now, for kids in school, I guess is totally different than it used to be. Every kid gets and gives Valentines to every kid, which didn’t happen when I was growing up. You just kind of gave it to somebody you liked or whatever. It’s kind of like the ‘Check Yes or No’ thing.”
Fortunately, Justin, who’s currently climbing the charts with his latest single, “Why We Drink,” has the night off from his Late Nights and Longnecks Tour on Valentine’s Day, so he’ll be home to celebrate with his wife and his kids, and even though the focus has changed, and the way kids celebrate in school has change, Justin says, “It’s fun. I mean the kids love it, obviously, they get candy. Any holiday they get candy they love.”
