When it comes to Valentine’s Day, Midland’s bass player, Cameron Duddy says, “I look at Valentine’s Day as a high-pressure situation to deliver.”
However, Cam doesn’t feel too much pressure about being able to do something that will impress his wife or make her happy because he confesses, “I’ve set the bar so low for myself in years past that it’s only like an improvement every year. So I’m like a champion in my household because I started so low, with such a little emphasis on it.”
For any guy who may be struggling with what to do for their significant other, Cam offers this advice. He says, “Cards are effective. I find if you write something heartfelt in the card that will make up for just about anything.”
Cam’s gonna have to write something really special and heartfelt in his card this year since Midland will be far from home this Valentine’s Day in Maplewood, Minnesota, on their Electric Rodeo Tour, as they continue to promote their sophomore album, Let It Roll, and their latest single, “Cheatin’ Songs.”
