Justin Moore knows he has his hands full with three little girls in his house, when it comes to crushes and “boyfriends,” and he knows one day he’ll have to face the inevitability that they will all start dating, but he’s happy to know that today is not that day. First, his daughters, who are 10, 8 and 5, are all too young to date, although that didn’t stop his oldest, Ella, from declaring she had a boyfriend when she was in kindergarten. But second, Justin says, “They’re all claiming that they don’t like anybody at the moment. I’m happy with that answer. I don’t know that I believe them, but as long as they’re telling me that right now, I’ll buy it.”
Thinking about his daughters having grade-school crushes and boyfriends, much less getting old enough to go on dates and have real boyfriends, could be inspiration for a whole new verse to Justin’s latest single, “Why We Drink.”
