Justin Moore and is family live in his home state of Arkansas, right next door to his parents (about 400 yards apart), because he is extremely close with his parents, but he also loves being able to still enjoy his mom’s home cooking. While she makes a lot of great things, Justin says, “The best thing she makes, and I’m not even a sweet eater, but she makes the best carrot cake, which I love carrot cake. But, all the stuff that’s terrible for you is what she makes that’s really good. She makes this like, hash brown potato casserole that everybody loves, and I don’t even know all the horrible things that are in it for you but it tastes awesome.”
While Justin has been enjoying a little extra of his mom’s home cooking while he’s been off the road, self-isolating with his entire family, he’s definitely looking forward to getting back out on tour before he puts on too much weight while he’s hanging out at home. He’s also looking forward to being able to sing his latest single, “Why We Drink,” which he says his mom inspired him to write, live again.
