Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott is a mother of three, and she hopes to be as much of a positive influence on them, as her mom was on her. When Hillary thinks of all the ways her mom influenced who she is today, she says, “I think one of the characteristics that I got from my mom is, I watched her my whole life have such a heart for people. And I think that that’s part of who she was created to be. I think that’s part of who I was created to be. But I also got to have this beautiful example of that lived out by her. And so, I would say, a big wide open heart for people.”
Something else Hillary inherited from her mom is her musical talent. Hillary’s mom is Linda Davis, who was a back-up singer for years for Reba McEntire, and performed with her on the duet, “Does He Love You,” before going onto release five albums as a solo artist. Now Hillary is following in her footsteps with Lady Antebellum, who just released their new single, “Champagne Night,” from their appearance on NBC’s Songland.
