Justin Moore has learned how to use social media as it’s become necessary in his career, but he’ll be the first to tell you that he is not the most savvy, nor does he spend endless hours scrolling through posts paying attention to the details of everybody else’s lives, which can sometimes lead to awkward moments.  In fact, Justin says, “I do have a funny story real quick about one of my heroes, Charlie Daniels.  Somewhere, I landed and he popped up on my Twitter timeline, and it was a video of him being told, I think, at the Opry, that he was going into the Hall of Fame. I just quickly watched the video and I thought, ‘Oh man, wow.’ So I text him and I go, ‘Mr. Daniels, man, congratulations. So long overdue,’ and yada yada yada, ‘and so happy for ya, and hope all is well.” And he goes, ‘That was actually a couple years ago, buddy, but I appreciate it.’ I’m like, ‘Of course!’ I guess it was an anniversary of it or something. I was like, ‘Well, that was stupid.’ But at least I was trying to congratulate him.  I was just two years late.”

We’re guessing after that Justin has learned to pay a little more attention to what he sees when he does look at social media, but with his busy music career, including his latest single, “Why We Drink,” sitting on the doorstep of the top 15, four young kids and 11 animals at home to keep up with, it’s understandable that he might miss some of the details from time to time.
