Brett Young’s latest single is “Lady,” a song he wrote about his wife, for his daughter, and when it came to deciding which song to follow up his sixth consecutive #1 song with, Brett says, “In this chapter of my life, it is the most obvious choice for a first single as we’re putting out new music, and so I hope it’s as meaningful to people listening that have children or a family or are planning to.”
“Lady” is special to Brett and his wife, Taylor, for a lot of reasons. He says, “I can’t wait till my daughter (Presley, who is 7 ½ months old) is old enough to hear it and understand it and know that Daddy wrote her a song before she was even here with us. But it’s a special song for me and I hope it really resonates with people.”
“Lady” is the first release off of Brett’s next project, which he should be releasing details about soon.
