(AUDIO) LADY A’S FUTURE SUCCESS IS ALL ABOUT BALANCE

Lady A has been together for almost 15 years, and even though they’ve had their share of ups and downs, and even moments of questioning whether they would stay together for the long haul, any doubts they had were resolved when they took time to stop and analyze themselves as individuals and as a trio, and to find a healthy balance that worked for everybody.  Dave Haywood says, “I think one of the greatest things we’ve just worked through is finding the right balance. I mean, I know there’s never a perfect balance, and we’d love to play tours that are 200 shows and play all over the world, but we just have to pick and choose nowadays.”

Over the past decade, all of the members of Lady A have gotten married and had kids, which certainly changed the dynamic of the band, and Dave says, “So, that’s kind of our greatest struggle is, ‘All right, we’ve got to hit 50 cities and we gotta bring our families and we gotta find that balance so we’re all happy and healthy.”

For now Lady A doesn’t seem themselves slowing down anytime soon.  Their latest single, “Champagne Night,” is steadily climbing the charts, and Dave says, “This thing can last as long as we want it to. We have what we think is an amazing thing going and it’s just us finding how each of us kind of fit into that.”
