CURRENT SINGLE: “Saltwater Gospel”
The Eli Young Band recently re-released their song, “Saltwater Gospel,” with Jimmy Buffett added to the track for the “Fins Up Version,” and lead singer Mike Eli points out, “Releasing a song like ‘Saltwater Gospel’ gives us a good excuse to call being at the beach work.”
When you think about it, they could go to the beach, snap a few photos for social media while they’re there, and call it a work trip. Mike says, “I think our goal was to create moments where we can just be at the beach, and hopefully releasing a song like that will create those moments. Cause we love the beach, we love the water and I think “Saltwater Gospel,” we can sing this song with conviction because we believe it.”
Imagine if they ever get to hang out at the beach with Jimmy Buffett, on one of his boats or something, and can call that a work trip too. Very clever, EYB, very clever.
