All three members of Lady A are big college football fans, and they all root for the same team thanks to Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood. Hillary Scott, who is a Tennessee native explains, “I didn’t have the same college experience as Charles and Dave did at University of Georgia. I went to MTSU (Middle Tennessee State University) and so I’ve kind of become an honorary Bulldog in a way, which has been fun.”
Although football season looks a little different for a lot of people this year, thanks to the pandemic, Hillary says with all three of them cheering for the same team, It’s such a great way to just hang and have fun with your friends and cook out. And they’re not fair-weather fans, I will say. It doesn’t matter if it’s a winning season or a losing season. They are diehard Bulldogs, and so it’s fun. It’s just a way to kind of hang out and laugh and enjoy each other.”
Thanks to the Bulldogs performance this weekend, it’s safe to say Lady A had a great weekend watching them trounce the Tennessee Vols, 44 to 21.
