Halloween is coming up on Saturday, and Charles Kelley says at some point, “I wanna be a banana. I think there’s something so funny and understated about a banana. Especially when you’re 6’6” and like, your little head’s poppin’ through and you’re like, a banana.”
While it does sound funny, Dave Haywood wonders if they even make banana costumes for 6’6” people. But according to Charles, that won’t be a problem because he says, “I’ve been known to sew a thing or two.”
Hillary Scott thinks a banana costume is pretty random, and Charles agrees. He says, “I know. I’ve always wanted just like, something just kind of funny, like a banana or like an apple.”
Perhaps one day if they’re on tour for Halloween, Lady A could all dress up as a fruit salad.
