CURRENT SINGLE: “If It Wasn’t for Trucks”
Riley Green loves all the delicious food that’s around at Thanksgiving, especially because he has two grandmothers who are great cooks. Talking about some of his favorite dishes at the holidays, he says, “My grandmother Nancy makes really good chicken and dumplins, and she makes the really good dressing.”
One of Riley’s favorite dishes is a little tricky because he says, “My favorite thing is biscuits and gravy. But the problem is, my grandmother Jean makes better gravy and my grandmother Nancy makes better biscuits. So, I can’t tell one or the other, but if I could ever get them together on one, it’d be a great meal.”
There’s a good chance Riley will be hosting Thanksgiving at his house down in Alabama, which he built before his career really took off, as a place where the whole family could get together for celebrations and holidays, but never really got to do much of until the pandemic forced him off the road because he was gone all the time.
