CURRENT SINGLE: “Long Live”
Over the years, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line have really worked to live in a state of gratitude for all the blessings in their lives. While they still sometimes have bad days like the rest of us, Tyler says, “Someone told us at some point that it’s hard to have a bad day or be in a bad mood if you’re thinking about what you’re grateful for.”
So, when a bad day starts to get the best of BK and Tyler, they try to focus on the many blessings in their life. “We have a ton to be grateful for,” says Tyler, “so, really it’s not hard. It’s just a matter of telling yourself, ‘Hey! Look around for second and realize where you’re at.’ … It’s a lifestyle that we’ve tried to adapt and a mindset that we’ve tried to adapt and it just makes life so much more beautiful.”
Tyler has been spending the last week quarantining on his tour bus, which is parked in his driveway, after testing positive for Covid-19. But even still, he says, “Ultimately we all have a lot to be thankful for. And it just seems like more and more blessings continues to be poured on us so, it gets easier and easier as you kind of practice that, for us.”
Fortunately, Tyler will finish quarantining in time to spend Thanksgiving with his family, who have been paying him daily visits outside his tour bus while he has to stay away from them.
Florida Georgia Line – Thanksgiving gratitude :39
Tyler Hubbard – “Someone told us at some point that it’s hard to have a bad day or be in a bad mood if you’re thinking about what you’re grateful for. I mean, obviously we have days that we struggle with this, but just trying to live in a mindset of being grateful, you know. We have a ton to be grateful for, so, really it’s not hard. It’s just a matter of telling yourself, ‘Hey! Look around for second and realize where you’re at.’ So, I don’t know, it’s a lifestyle that we’ve tried to adapt and a mindset that we’ve tried to adapt and it just makes life so much more beautiful. And ultimately we all have a lot to be thankful for. And it just seems like more and more blessings continues to be poured on us so, it gets easier and easier as you kind of practice that, for us.”
