CURRENT SINGLE: “What’s Your Country Song”
When the pandemic first started and Thomas Rhett had to find a way to fill his days, since he couldn’t tour, he says, “I wrote a ton of songs during quarantine, I think because I had so much time on my hands. And as I finally started to slow down a little bit and just kind of understand this is what 2020 is gonna be like, I found myself being in a very creative space, and also found that a lot of the writers in Nashville were in a creative space, too.”
When quarantine first started, Thomas says, “I just felt like titles just kept comin’ to my head and I felt very creative.”
Thomas estimates he wrote 30 – 40 songs just in the first several months of quarantine, a handful of which he shared acoustically on social media, leaving fans to wonder when and if they’d be able to get the songs on an album. While he hasn’t offered any details yet, it seems like Thomas will have a ton of new music for his fans this year.
