(AUDIO) RASCAL FLATTS ALWAYS CONSIDERED THEIR LIVE SHOWS WHEN MAKING MUSIC

CURRENT SINGLE: “How They Remember You”

If you ever had a chance to see Rascal Flatts in concert, then you know they put on an incredible live show.  Part of the reason is because whenever they recorded their albums, they always kept their live shows in mind.  “Without fail, we think about how the song’s gonna translate live. When we’re in the studio a lot of times, working up the arrangement, we’ll go, ‘Ahhh, we need to do this here. This will be cool when we play it live.’”

While every song they recorded wasn’t destined to make it into their live shows, Rascal Flatts approached every song like it could be part of their set list.  “You don’t know if you’re actually gonna play that song ever,” says Jay, “but you try to keep that in mind when you’re making the arrangements and coming up with how it’s gonna be presented.”

When you listen to Rascal Flatts’ Greatest Hits album, you can hear the years of great hits they recorded and subsequently turned into memorable set lists over the past two decades.
