Carly Pearce has been receiving tons of praise and critical acclaim for her incredible new project, 29, but when it comes to compliments, she says the best ones she ever receives come from her fans. “Fans say to me that I feel like their friend and that I’m writing their story. And that is all I really want to do as an artist.”
Hearing that fans relate to her music, or can hear their own stories in the songs she writes is important to Carly because she says, “I don’t want people to feel like I’m not tangible.”
Aside from those kinds of compliments about her music, Carly says, “I think just anyone telling me that I have a good heart, that means a lot to me, cause at the end of the day it’s what it’s all about.”
