CURRENT SINGLE: “If It Wasn’t for Trucks”
One look at Riley Green, and you can tell he’s in good shape. Fortunately, he really enjoys working out and considers it one of his hobbies when he’s out on the road touring, although that wasn’t always the case. “Playin’ sports growing up, it was not as much fun to me to work out when coaches were making me do it,” admits Riley. “And now that I don’t have anybody screaming at me and blowin’ a whistle, I sort of enjoy it a little bit. So, that’s definitely another hobby of mine on the road is trying to stay in shape,”
Besides staying in shape to look good and be able to have the stamina to play shows every night, Riley also does it to try to stay healthy, because he says, “It’s tough. I mean, the lack of sleep and the travel is a little bit of a grind, so I feel like that’s an important thing to keep you kind of level.”
Last time we spoke to Riley, he told us he has a membership at Planet Fitness, since he can usually find one in most cities. So, if he’s ever playing your town, and you’re a member of Planet Fitness, you might not want to skip your workout that day.
