CURRENT SINGLE: “How They Remember You”
Rascal Flatts is in the top ten on the charts with their latest song, “How They Remember You,” and if you ask them how they want to be remembered, one of the first things they will say is their partnership with the Monroe Carol Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, and the Rascal Flatts Surgery Center that was named in their honor for the millions of dollars they helped raise for the hospital. But when we asked Gary LeVox about other less obvious things Rascal Flatts might want to be remembered for, he said, “I think we’d want to be remembered for ‘Broken Road.’ I think we’d want to be remembered for ‘Prayin’ for Daylight,’ and our clothes and pleather and hairdos.”
Another thing Rascal Flatts loved making and is proud of, is their video for “This Everyday Love” in the bowling alley. “We love The Big Lebowski,” explains Gary. “We love that movie so much that we actually shot it in the same bowling alley, on the same lanes that they shot The Big Lebowski in. So, that’s a little insider that we’re really proud of.”
With 20 years under their belts as a group, we’re sure Rascal Flatts could come up with a lot of other things they’re proud of and would want to be remembered for.
