CURRENT SINGLE: “Hard Days”
Brantley has worked with several producers in his career, and one of his favorites, by far, is Dann Huff, who has played guitar as a studio musician on albums for everyone from Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson to Barbara Streisand and Kenny Rogers. You’ll also find Dann’s name listed as a producer on projects from Lady A, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Thomas Rhett, Kane Brown, Brett Young and dozens more. Dann produced 10 of the 17 songs on Brantley’s most recent album, Fire & Brimstone, and Brantley says, “I love Dann Huff. Dann is one of my favorite people in the entire world. And not only is he just incredibly talented and just a master at what he does, he’s one of the best people I’ve met inside, in this town. He’s a good hearted fella.”
Brantley is very careful about who he trusts and lets into his inner circle, but Dann is definitely someone he trusts and loves having a close connection to in life. “We have a awesome relationship and a friendship outside of work,” Brantley says. “So, working with him is always an honor and a pleasure.”
Brantley’s current single, “Hard Days,” was added to the Deluxe Edition of his Fire & Brimstone album, and he hasn’t announced what he plans to do next, music-wise, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Dann Huff was involved in some way.
