CURRENT SINGLE: “Like A Lady”
On Lady A’s latest song, “Like A Lady,” Charles and Dave sing, “Cause I feel like a lady!” in the harmonies, which brought up the curiosity about the girliest thing about each of them. Charles Kelley said, “t’s funny, over the past year or two I’ve tried to like, cut back on drinking too much whiskey. And so, I’m not gonna lie, I really like rosé sometimes. So, I’ll do like a little rosé, and sometimes I’m out and like the waiter, he’s like, ‘Ohhh, a rosé.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, a rosé.”
Dave Haywood was not shy about admitting he likes to go shopping. He said, “I go to Lululemon all the time. I live in those clothes, man. I just want to be comfortable all day long. I love to get out and shop when I can and, you know, it’s fun, man. You gotta get some new threads every now and then.”
Charles thought the girliest thing about Dave might be his love of romantic comedy movies, to which Dave responded, “I do love a good rom-com. I’m not afraid to admit that by any means.”
Hillary Scott jumped in, pointing out that Charles loves the movie The Notebook.
To Charles, that’s a movie that everybody loves. In fact, he said, “If you don’t love The Notebook, you got no heart.”
