CURRENT SINGLE: “If It Wasn’t for Trucks”
Riley Green is very close to his family, and he loves hanging out with them whenever he’s down in Alabama, because he says, “It’s not music talk. You know, I don’t have to fill them in on what’s going on. My mom watches my calendar so she can know where I’m at.”
Plus, Riley loves the perks of being Uncle Riley, because he says, “Having nieces and nephews is like … I can’t imagine having kids, cause you gotta deal with ‘em all the time. But I can go hang out with them whenever I want and then leave ‘em with their parents.”
Although Riley has had plenty of time to spend with his family during the pandemic, when his schedule is full and he’s working a lot, he says, “It’s just nice to have family that close and be able to go catch up with ‘em, cause they’re just as excited, if not more so, for what I’m doing.” But, he says, “It really is a break when I’m around them.”
Riley is about to get plenty busy, because Dierks Bentley just announced his Beers On Me Tour, with Riley opening for him beginning August 13th though October 22nd.
