Riley Green is in pretty good shape, and you can tell he works out, but he admits that his workout isn’t as structured or well thought out as some people’s. He laughs and says, “Riley Green workout is wake up, drink as much coffee and espresso as you can, and make yourself go to Planet Fitness and just get on as many machines as you can before you’ve got to go do an interview or a meet and greet.”
While Riley might focus on legs one day or arms the next, he doesn’t have any kind of regiment or strict sets of reps that he follows. “There’s no rhyme or reason to it,” he says. “I certainly couldn’t write you something out. I walk around in the gym and look at stuff ‘til I get motivated. Then figure out what machine somebody’s not on.”
While someone like Tim McGraw probably couldn’t imagine being so casual and unstructured with his workouts, whatever Riley’s doing in the gym seems to be working well for him, so it’s hard to criticize his methods,
