CURRENT SINGLE – “Undivided” w/ Tyler Hubbard
After Tyler Hubbard co-wrote “Undivided” with a couple of his songwriting buddies, he immediately knew that he wanted Tim McGraw to hear the song. At the time, he wasn’t even thinking Tim would record it any time soon. Tyler thought Tim would appreciate the message of the song and so he wanted him to hear it. Then when Tim said he wanted to record the song right away, Tyler definitely never thought of the possibility of Tim asking him to sing on the song with him. “You know, I don’t know if I really thought about it,” says Tyler. “I think I was surprised, yeah. And I was happy and I was real excited, so I just rolled with it.”
Florida Georgia Line worked with Tim McGraw in the past, when they invited him to be part of their song, “May We All,” and Tyler says, “Tim’s somebody I’ve looked up to, BK’s looked up to, we’ve got to work with in the past, and he’s just a great dude. So, to get to work with him again and make more memories and make more music, I’m just so thankful.”
Tim has said in the past that he’s just grateful that Tyler thought to share the song and its message with him, because it really reminded him about the kind of person he wants to be in his family and in the world.
