CURRENT SINGLE: “The Worst Country Song of All Time”
Brantley Gilbert loves good looking fast cars, but he doesn’t like spending tons of money on cars, which is why it took him a while to find the impressive ride he has now. “It’s a Shelby GT500 Golden Ticket,” says Brantley, “and that thing’s fast.”
There were only 1250 2020 GT500 Golden Tickets manufactured, so it’s definitely a collector’s item. Brantley says, “My record label president, Scott, collects like, Ferraris and exotic cars, and he’s been trying to get me to buy somethin’ forever. And I told him like, number one, I pinch too many pennies for that. I’ll never spend that kind of money on a vehicle. And number two, I couldn’t drive it around home. I’d look like the biggest D bag ever born. So, when Ford put this out, he called me and he was like, ‘Man, you gotta get that.’”
While the price tag was probably still more than Brantley wanted to spend, with a starting price of around $74K and a fully loaded price of about $95K, the Shelby GT500 Golden Ticket was still a heck of a lot cheaper than a new Ferrari, which can start anywhere from around $215K to over $500K depending on the model and the features.
