CURRENT SINGLE: “Am I the Only One”
One listen to Aaron Lewis’ latest single, “Am I the Only One,” and you know he is on the conservative end of the spectrum. He believes strongly in the Second Amendment, he considers himself a patriot willing to fight for his freedom, and he believes people should take pride in working for a living and not living on government handouts. Aaron says, “It feels really good to go along with all of these progressive ideas of, oh, everything can just be great for everyone. Utopia.”
However, Aaron doesn’t think it is the government’s or the taxpayer’s responsibility to create that Utopia. “Everybody deserves the opportunity to go out in life and attain what it is that you are driven to attain. Nothing is handed to you. Nothing is free. Get a job, go work, earn your way.”
Aaron believes people are better for putting in the work and taking care of themselves. So he advises everyone, “Take pride in it because you’re earning your way and no one‘s giving you a hand out. Nobody is holding your hand through life.”
