Carly Pearce dreamt of being a country music singer since she was a little girl, and never considered a plan B. But when she was a young girl, she says, “The only other thing that for a second I thought was cool was to be a (veterinarian).”
Since she loved animals, she thought that could be a fun job, but then she says, “I figured out that you also had to take care of sick animals, and I didn’t want to do that.”
Carly had only considered getting to take care of and spend her days with happy, healthy animals. Luckily, her country music career took off and is thriving, so she never had to rely on her imperfect plan B.
