(AUDIO) CARLY PEARCE HAS BEEN BONDING WITH HER FANS THROUGH HER LATEST ALBUM

CURRENT SINGLE: “Never Wanted to Be That Girl” w/ Ashley McBryde

Writing her latest album, 29: Written in Stone was very therapeutic and healing for Carly Pearce, and now that she’s performing the songs live, she’s realizing how much her songs have also been therapeutic and healing for her fans. “This is the most personal music that I’ve ever put out,” says Carly, “but I think what has been so cool is seeing fans sing it back to me, and seeing them be moved by these songs – ‘Should’ve Known Better,’ ‘29,’ ‘Day One’.”

While each of those songs represent Carly’s pain and the struggle she went through that inspired 29: Written in Stone, she says, “I see them singing and I see that they’ve felt the pain as well. They’ve been there too. And I feel like I’m bringing them to a place of understanding they are not alone.”

Fortunately, or unfortunately, Carly has heard from plenty of female fans who relate to her current single with Ashley McBryde, “Never Wanted to be That Girl,” because they were also lied to and cheated on by a guy.
