(AUDIO) CONNER SMITH IS RELISHING WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES

DEBUT SINGLE – “Learn From It”

2021 was the year Conner Smith made his debut on the national country music scene, and it was better than he ever could have anticipated.  Not only did he release his debut single, “Learn from It,” but Conner also got to open some shows for Sam Hunt and Thomas Rhett, which were huge opportunities. “Really getting to start my career is one of those things you kind of think about and dream about for so long. And so, to finally get to put it into action and put out songs and see the way people reacted to it, I mean I really feel like it went better than we could’ve dreamed of.”

Having a song on the radio for the first time, and then following that up with the released of his first collection of songs entitled Didn’t Go to Far was a game changer in Conner’s eyes.  “As we got to do shows alongside with the music releases it felt bigger every time we got out there and people sang the words more every time. And so, it was kind of this cool surreal moment of looking back – on June 24th I didn’t even have a song out in the world.“

Now Conner has several songs in the world, he’s working on even more, and he’s going to be spending the summer on the road with Thomas Rhett as one of the openers on his Bring the Bar to You Tour, which ought to make for an even more epic year than 2021.
