CURRENT SINGLE: “With a Woman You Love”
Justin Moore’s four kids, Ella, Kennedy, Klein and South, range in age from 12 to turning five in July, and all of them play at least one extra-curricular sport, which is keeping Justin extremely busy. Both Justin and his wife try to make it to all of their kids’ games, which seems almost impossible, but Justin says, “Fortunately, they’re not at the same times. They’re on different nights, which is great because neither of us have to miss any of ‘em. However, outside of Wednesday night and maybe one other day during the week, we have ball games literally every night.”
Not to mention, Justin is touring, plus he does a live sports-talk radio show every weekday morning and he has his self-titled weekly podcast. And this year two of his kids’ sports schedules pose an extra challenge. “They flubbed up the schedule for Kennedy and Klein’s teams and we only got like two home games all year,” Justin explains. “So, we’ve been driving, you know, 30, 40 minutes to play at away venues. It’s been a busy stretch here for the last couple months.”
Justin loves being a hands-on dad and being there for his kids, but he admits sometimes he feels like he’s barely treading water with his schedule. “It’s just non-stop. I told Kate, I know we’re gonna miss this one day, but I can promise you it ain’t today. I’m exhausted.”
