DEBUT SINGLE – “Don’t Come Lookin’”
When Jackson dean decided to pursue a career in country music in Nashville, he was still a teenager living in his hometown in Maryland. He wasn’t quite ready to pick up, pack up and move, but he knew he needed to be in Nashville to make the connections and meet the people who could help get his career off the ground. So, for a while, Jackson kept up a pretty hectic schedule in order to make things work.
Jackson Dean – making the move to Nashville :33
“For about a year and a half maybe more, I was on a flight twice a week from BWI to here and back, Monday through Wednesday. So, I’d get up at like 4:30 Monday morning and get here at like 8:00, and fly out Wednesday night. It was all fine, it’s just, I needed to be here. I couldn’t do what I needed to do, I couldn’t have the meetings, I couldn’t do what I’m doing right now from there. It just wouldn’t have worked. And I needed to fly the nest for a little while. I mean I did that when I was 18 but I moved like, literally 10 miles away.“
