Jackson Dean knows there was a time when serving our country was not a choice, but people like his grandfather did it honorably. These days, it is truly a choice to serve, and Jackson admires those who choose to do so, and whatever it is within them that drives them to make that choice.

“My grandfather was a Marine. He was in World War II in the South Pacific, and he did two tours over there in Africa, and went around the world. I think in times of war, it’s just what you do. You just kind of have to. Now, the world’s a little bit different. Some people have a commitment to honor and to serve and protect, and some people are just really good at it. There’s all different reasons why.”
