Thomas Rhett has often said he and his wife Lauren want lots of kids. They already have four daughters, and recently, Thomas told People magazine now that their youngest, Lillie Carolina, is three years old, “This season that we’re in right now is a really fun season. Our kids are just getting older and it’s a lot easier to go on dates. It’s a lot easier to have some alone time in the mornings. It’s a lot easier to travel with our kids and know that we’re not going to have massive meltdowns in an airport. It’s like we are flirting again, and I think it’s because we have the energy to flirt rather than just like, ‘Oh my gosh, get me to my pillow as fast as humanly possible’ kind of mindset of having young children.”

So, does that mean Thomas and Lauren are done growing their family, or could more kids be in their future plans?

“I think we go back and forth because I’ve heard a lot of people older than me say so many times like, ‘I wish I’d had more kids.’ Or you never hear somebody in their sixties be like, ‘I wish I’d had less kids.’ No one ever says that. And so, I think for me and Lauren we’re trying to figure out like although it would be hard now to add another one or two more or whatever, but I know that time will go by so fast and at some point there could be five or six children sitting at our Thanksgiving table. So, it’s not out of the question. I think we’re tryin’ to figure out when, and do we want to try biological, do we wanna adopt again? I think those are questions that we’re kinda dealing with.”
