Chris Janson’s latest song, “Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get” is all about being real and authentic and not putting on any pretense. Chris admits that when he first started out in the music business, it took him a little while to be comfortable in his own skin, but once he figured it out, it gave him the confidence to be unapologetically himself.

“I grew up just a small -town country kid, so I’m always a quintessential country boy at heart, if you will. But I’m also just an easy -goin;, chill dude. I’m just a normal, average guy trying to make music for the average Joe, you know, people like me. And for years, you know, I was just trying to find my identity as a human being, and forever I was just always worried about trying to fit in somewhere. Now it is what it is, and I don’t really care what anybody thinks, and I finally feel like I’ve just fit in as me, and that’s good enough for me.”
