Justin Moore considers his parents his best friends.  They live next door to him in Arkansas, and they even go on double dates sometimes with Justin and his wife Kate. Part of the reason they’re so close is because Justin is an only child, and he will never forget the sacrifices his parents made to help make his dreams come true.

“Growin’ up in Arkansas, the things that mattered are very simple things, and that’s what my parents, I mean, that’s where I got that from was them. I grew up in a middle-class family, a hard-workin’ family.  I mean, I’m sittin’ here because my parents both got extra jobs to pay my bills for five years when I first moved here, you know. And probably the most important thing was my parents’ world revolved around me, like nothing else mattered. And so, I hope to be the same type of parent as they were in that regard.”
