current single: “OVER WHEN WE’RE SOBER” featuring Ashley Cooke
Brantley Gilbert will kick off The Tattoos Tour, named after his latest album, this Thursday (2/27), and to celebrate, he got some new ink on his back. He posted some pictures and videos showing the newest additions to his vast tattoo collection. Brantley has his two older kids’ names with guardian angels on his chest, so he added his four-month-old son Abram’s name, with a gun-toting guardian angel, on his back. But Brantley had limited space to work with because of the sprawling Second Amendment tattoo that covers most of his back. He’s had that tattoo for a decade, and Brantley says he basically got it to put any questions to rest about where he stands.

“You know, the one on my back was just kind of a statement so people would quit asking me, ‘How do you feel about the Second Amendment?’ Look at my back. Yeah, I think that may have polarized me a little bit too, you either love me or hate me now. But no, you know, the Second Amendment is something that I do hold close to my heart, you know, without saying a whole lot more about that. That’s a little bit of expression back there, I guess.”
