(AUDIO) GARY LeVOX OF RASCAL FLATTS LOVES HIS LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN ON EARTH

current single: “I DARE YOU” with The Jonas Brothers

When Rascal Flatts is off the road and not working, lead singer Gary LeVox can’t wait to get to his property a little over an hour outside of Nashville. The lyrics to the band’s song “Banjo” aren’t far off from describing how to find Gary’s property:

You gotta go deep, way on back
Cross a few creeks and a couple little shacks
You gotta get lost, way on out
Crickets and frogs, yeah, you’re gettin’ close now
And you kick it into four-wheel drive when you run out of road
And you go, and you go and you go-go-go

Gary told us about his little piece of heaven on earth and what he gets from being there.

Rascal Flatts – Gary way out of city :24

“Peace. You don’t have horns. You don’t have traffic. You just have peace. There’s a sign out there at my gate that says, ‘Leave it at the gate.’  And that’s like, everything that you brought just leaves. That peace and that one-on-one time with God, and you look around at all the beautiful nature, and it’s everything that I love and just who I am and how I grew up. I love it. I love the peace and the serenity and the beauty of just being in the country.”
