current single: “OVER WHEN WE’RE SOBER” featuring Ashley Cooke
Brantley Gilbert and his family are getting ready to move into a new forever home they’ve been building down in Georgia. Brantley’s favorite place at his old house is a building known as The Dawg House, which is like a hybrid man cave/garage. He hasn’t said if a Dawg House 2.0 is included in the plans for the new house, but we have to imagine it is, because it was big enough that it housed Brantley’s tour bus, along with his cars, motorcycles, side by sides, skid gliders and other toys. It also had a pool table, a living room, and even a tattoo chair. Brantley explains how The Dawg House was a team effort during Covid, and how he and his guys also came up with a very special idea for the bar that was part of it.
Brantley Gilbert – Dawg House :30
“I had this idea to build like a man cave slash garage, and all my guys from the road, my band guys and my crew guys from Georgia and Nashville, everybody kinda came down, got together and we built this thing. And through the years, military guys have come through and girls have come through the meet and greet line, and they always give me coins or patches. And I didn’t ever know what to do with them. So, we actually ended up putting all of ‘em in like a shadow box bar.”
