Greylan James got his first guitar as a gift from his Papaw when he was just five years old.  At the time, the guitar was just something his Papaw thought Greylan would enjoy playing with, but once he got it in his hands and learned how to play it, it changed Greylan’s life forever.

“It was literally just something to bang on. But I swear to God, I still vaguely remember it, but from that point on, I was like, ‘That is what I’m doing the rest of my life.’ And I took that little guitar to guitar lessons from when I was 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 years old, and I just never stopped. I was like, ‘This is what I’m doing.’ It never wavered. I played baseball, played other sports. You know, obviously went to school, but I was like, ‘I wanna do country music. This is my thing.’”
