(AUDIO) Justin Moore’s Opinion of Halloween May Be Changing

Justin Moore admits that when he was growing up he absolutely hated Halloween.  He hated dressing up and just everything about the holiday, but now that he has two young daughters he finds that he’s starting to embrace the holiday a little more.  “I think I’m at a point where I have to with two little girls,” says Justin, “(but) it’s still not my favorite.”  But it’s phone conversations like the one he recently had with his three year old daughter Ella that are softening him up.  Justin says he called home and Ella answered the phone.  “We were talking about something and just out of the blue she goes, ‘You know what I’m gonna be for Halloween?’  I said, ‘What are you gonna be for Halloween?’   She said, ‘I’m gonna be a mermaid and Kennedy (my younger one) is gonna be an octopus.’”  So even though Justin, who just released his new single, “Lettin’ the Night Roll,” may not be ready to put on a costume and celebrate Halloween he says, “It is fun with kids. They enjoy it and I’m coming around a little bit.”

Justin Moore – Halloween  :36
“I think I’m at a point where I have to with two little girls.  It’s still not my favorite.  I was on the phone with my three-year-old the other day.  I called my wife and my three-year-old answered and we were talking about something and just out of the blue she goes, “You know what I’m gonna be for Halloween?”  I said, “What are you gonna be for Halloween?”  She said, “I’m gonna be a mermaid and Kennedy (my younger one) is gonna be an octopus.”  So I guess we’ve already picked out Halloween costumes.  But it is fun with kids.  They enjoy it and I’m coming around a little bit.”
