Cassadee Pope has released her debut single, “Wasting All These Tears,” and her new album, Frame by Frame, since winning season three of The Voice as part of Team Blake, and she says her former coach, Blake Shelton, has continued to be supportive of her career. “I actually sent him a few songs a few months ago and he was just really, really excited about it and he was very sweet. He was really encouraging and told me that he thought that I was starting something new, a new trend, and he was proud of me.”
Some of Cassadee’s interaction with Blake after The Voice was captured on film as part of her CMT docu-series. “It was him talking to me about everything (and) giving me advice,” she explains. “He’s just always been a supportive, encouraging guy.”

Cassadee Pope – support from Blake :32
“I actually sent him a few songs a few months ago and he was just really, really excited about it and he was very sweet. He was really encouraging and told me that he thought that I was starting something new, a new trend, and he was proud of me, and he sat down in my trailer for a while and just chatted with me when I went back to The Voice and that was a big part of the episode where I returned to The Voice on the CMT docu-series. It was him talking to me about everything (and) giving me advice and, yeah, he’s just always been a supportive, encouraging guy.”
