(AUDIO) Danielle Bradbery Conquered Stage Fright On The Voice

After seeing Danielle Bradbery performing on the Beat This Winter Tour with Brad Paisley, it’s hard to believe that prior to appearing as a contestant on The Voice last year she suffered from terrible stage fright. In fact, Danielle had never performed in front of an audience prior to going on the show because she was too shy. She says, “Stage fright was something I didn’t think I could get over and once I got into The Voice and being on stage I felt like something just clicked on and being in the spotlight and having the cameras, something felt comfortable about that. And once I started singing, it just, all the fear went away.”

Danielle also credits her coach, Blake Shelton, with helping her to get comfortable on stage. She says, “Blake was kind of somebody I fell back on and he was really supportive and if I got nervous, or while I was singing I’d just kind of look at him, and he’d be either movin’ with the song, had a big smile on his face, singing along and that just made me feel good knowing I can make Blake Shelton proud. And it was just little things like that I just became this new person on stage. It was really cool.”

Next up, Danielle, who scored her first top 15 hit with her debut single, “The Heart of Dixie,” will join Hunter Hayes on the We’re Not Invisible Tour, which kicks off on March 20th.
