The Band Perry just played two shows this weekend in Dublin and London for the C2C Music Festival and they always love going overseas to continue building their fan base because of the passion of the fans who seek out the music. Reid says, “They don’t really, I guess other than Ireland, don’t have tradition country radio over there. It’s all being found online. So for us, who love to play shows it’s the perfect place to go to spread the word about country music and The Band Perry.” It’s also the perfect place to try out album cuts or new music, like their latest single, “Chainsaw,” since the fans aren’t married to any particular hits.
Other than an occasional language barrier Reid says the fans are all the same all around the world. “Over there are just like the ones over here; they sing along, they scream, they yell.”
