(AUDIO) Rascal Flatts Remembers The Tapes They Used To Rewind

Rascal Flatts’ latest single, “Rewind,” is about rewinding the great memories of a night with someone special. These days with DVD’s, CD’s and digital music, the whole concept of rewinding anything is somewhat obsolete, but Gary, Jay and Joe Don still remember some of the cassettes and videos they used to rewind over and over again when they were younger. Gary says, “Michael Jackson Thriller for me.”

Jay DeMarcus confesses to rewinding a certain movie over and over. He says, “I remember the one VHS we had that was always in there, my sister loved it, was The Cutting Edge. And we just, we wore that out. You remember D. B. Sweeney when he played the hockey player that got hurt and became the figure skater.”

Joe Don Rooney remembers wearing out his VHS of the Bad News Bears. He laughs and says, “It barely worked near the end.”

Rewind is the title track off Rascal Flatts’ forthcoming album, which will be available on May 13th.
