(AUDIO) Florida Georgia Line Honored To Salute The Troops

Florida Georgia Line will be part of the upcoming CBS special, ACM Presents: An All-Star Salute to the Troops. They performed a song off their album called “People Back Home” and Tyler Hubbard explains, “It’s a song that we wrote a while back and it’s just a special song that means a lot to us. Kind of takes us back and kind of an anthem to our people back home, our friends, our family, the people that we love and miss. We just figured that the troops could relate to that. They’re always missing their families and their loved ones and vice versa.”

Brian Kelley was honored to be part of the salute to the troops because he says, “Without them we don’t have anything. We’re very, very grateful for those that are serving now, that have served and that are going to serve because we live in the best country and we get to play country music. The crazy thing is, people come in meet and greets that serve and they say ‘thank you for dong what you do,’ and it’s thank YOU GUYS.”

ACM Presents: An All Star Salute to the Troops will air at 9pm ET/8pm CT on CBS on May 20th.
