The Eli Young Band loves making music and putting hits on the radio, like their latest single, “Dust,” but Jon Jones says their first love is and will always be playing live. “Playing live is why we started this band, that’s what we love. That ability to get up on stage and entertain people and feel that rush of being up there and playing music together is what has kept us going all this time,” says Jon.
While they’re fortunate enough to get to play for thousands of fans with their own shows and opening for people like Jake Owen and Darius Rucker, Jon says, “We would do anything to be able to get up and do it. I’m sure if we weren’t as successful as we have been we’d still be in some dive bar doing it to this day. And it’s great to have these wonderful huge acts that wanna bring us out and share their audiences with us. We’ve had so many great opportunities to learn how to become better musicians and better artists.”
The Eli Young Band will be on the road all summer. You can see a complete list of their tour dates here.

Eli Young Band – playing live :33
Jon Jones – “Playing live is why we started this band, that’s what we love. That ability to get up on stage and entertain people and feel that rush of being up there and playing music together is what has kept us going all this time. And so, that seems like the most no-brainer part of what we do, and we would do anything to be able to get up and do it. I’m sure if we weren’t as successful as we have been we’d still be in some dive bar doing it to this day. And it’s great to have these wonderful huge acts that wanna bring us out and share their audiences with us. We’ve had so many great opportunities to learn how to become better musicians and better artists.”
