When you see RaeLynn on stage she’s usually got on frilly skirts, bright red lipstick and is all dolled up like a girlie girl, but that’s only one side of her. “If I don’t have to get dressed up I usually don’t,” she says. “I love being all fixed up and cute but, there’s a beauty to being really natural and I love wearing t-shirts and shorts and Converse. I’m obsessed with Converse. I still have my first pair of Converse I got when I was thirteen.”

RaeLynn explains that liking to be dressed down and comfortable stems from her upbringing in Baytown, Texas. She says, “We go four-wheelin’ and do all that crazy stuff. I grew up in a country town so, course I like to get dirty too.”

RaeLynn is currently finishing up her debut album, which she hopes to release later this year, featuring her new single, “God Made Girls.”
