The Band Perry has had pretty good success with the music off their latest album, Pioneer, including “Better Dig Two,” “Done” and their latest single, “Chainsaw,” but they admit that when they go in to write material for a new album, they don’t go in trying to write a hit song. Kimberly Perry says, “I don’t think that you ever really go into writing songs wondering how people are going to respond to it. I think it’s your responsibility as a song writer to dig deep inside of yourself and pen something as honest as you can.”
The Band Perry is currently digging deep for the follow up to Pioneer, which they are working on now. They’re also spending their summer on the road with Blake Shelton as part of his Ten Times Crazier Tour.
