(AUDIO) Eli Young Band Remember The Time A Horse Walked Into The Bar

Eli Young Band’s latest single, “Dust,” is top 20 and climbing, but the guys still remember back before they ever had any hits on the radio and some of the more interesting gigs they played while paying their dues. James Young recalls, “We played a venue once, and here we are mid-song and a horse, there’s a little window right there, and open window, and two horse heads just pop in right there. I think that place was also haunted too.”

The venue was the Busy Bee in Maypearl, Texas and Jon says, “You could park your horses right there. At the end of it there’s this barn and the horses just wanted to see what was goin’ on.”

These days Eli Young Band is headlining their own shows and opening for Jake Owen on the Days of Gold Tour, so it’s not likely they have too many horses popping in during their shows just to see what’s going on.
